Miranda is the Secretary and in charge of Membership.
She joined the mighty UBAS in 2010, while studying International Relations at the University of Birmingham, and was the Senior Student from 2012-2013.
Miranda received a logistics bursary from the Royal Air Force and commissioned in 2014. She deployed on operations and exercises globally, most memorably as a Team Leader on the UK Mobile Air Movements Squadron – the RAF’s high-readiness air combat service support unit.
After two very interesting years in a private office at the Ministry of Defence Headquarters in Whitehall, she left the RAF in 2020 and is embarking on a new career in the world of business.
She is delighted to be part of the UBAS Association team: ‘Oh Birmingham!’.
